Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms and Conditions aim to stipulate the conditions and procedures for using the website services provided by CheonWoo (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”), as well as other necessary matters.
Article 2 (Effect and Change of Terms and Conditions)
- 1. These Terms and Conditions shall take effect upon notification to users.
- 2. The contents of these Terms and Conditions are posted on the service screen, and any changes to the Terms and Conditions are announced through the Company's online notice bulletin.
- 3. The Company may revise these Terms and Conditions if deemed necessary, and the changed Terms and Conditions shall take effect in the same manner as Paragraph 1.
Article 3 (Rules for Application of Terms and Conditions)
- 1. These Terms and Conditions shall apply together with the use regulations and separate terms and conditions regarding the services provided by the Company.
- 2. If matters not specified in these Terms and Conditions are stipulated in relevant laws and regulations of the Republic of Korea, such provisions shall apply.
Article 4 (Definitions of Terms)
The definitions of terms used in these Terms and Conditions are as follows:
- 1. “Users”refer to individual members and corporate members who access the “Homepage” and use services provided through the “Homepage” in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
- 2. “Signing up”refers to the act of finalizing the service use agreement by filling out the relevant information in the application form provided by the Company and agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.
- 3. “Member”refers to a user who registers as a member by providing personal and/or corporate information to the Company on the “Homepage” and can receive information from the “Homepage” and use the relevant services continuously.
- 4. “ID”refers to a combination of letters and numbers entered by a member and approved by the Company for member identification and the use of services.
- 5. “Password”refers to a combination of letters and numbers entered by a user to confirm that it matches his/her member ID and to protect the user’s confidentiality during communication.
- 6. “Withdrawal”refers to the act of a member terminating the use agreement.
- 7. Terms not defined in these Terms and Conditions are defined in separate
terms and conditions and use regulations for individual services.
Article 5 (Membership Qualification and Application for Using Our Services)
- 1. Membership registration is completed after a user agrees to these Terms and Conditions and completes the prescribed registration procedures required by the Company.
- 2. The Company provides a member ID free of charge when a new user signs up for membership. Any person applying for the use of our services shall use his/her real name for the application.
- 3. Membership registration is established based on the Company's approval of
the user's application and the user's consent to the Terms and Conditions.
- 4. After a user is registered as a member, the Company will display a
confirmation screen informing the user of the successful registration.
Article 6 (Withdrawal of Membership and Loss of Membership)
The Company reserves the right to restrict or suspend membership for any of the following reasons:
- 1. If you have used someone else’s name to apply for membership;
- 2. If you have provided false information or attached false documents to your
application;
- 3. If your application is made for the purpose of hindering social well-being or
public morals;
- 4. If you commit any act of interfering with another person’s use of our
services or stealing information;
- 5. If you use our site to engage in acts prohibited by laws, regulations, and/or
these Terms and Conditions;
- 6. If other registration requirements set by the Company are not met.
Article 7 (Provision and Use of Our Services)
- 1. In principle, our services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, unless there is a special technical or business problem.
- 2. The Company may stop providing services in any of the following cases:
- A. When maintenance of the system is unavoidable;
- B. When the telecommunication service provider suspends services under the Telecommunications Business Act;
- C. In the event of any other reasons where the Company cannot provide services.
- 3. The services provided by the Company are as follows:
- A. Homepage(Membership Services);
- B. All other services developed by the Company or provided through cooperation agreements with third parties.
Article 8 (Consent to the Use of Member Information)
- 1. Our Privacy Policy applies to members’ personal information.
- 2. Member information is managed as follows:
- A. Collection: The Company collects information provided during sign-up, community activities, participation in events, or for receiving advertisements and prizes;
- B. Use: The Company does not disclose personal information to third parties without consent. However, exceptions are made for requests from state agencies pursuant to Korean laws (e.g., Framework Act on Telecommunications), criminal investigations, or requests by the Korea Communications Standards Commission;
- C. Management: You may edit or delete your personal information at any time in the member information section;
- D. Protection: Your personal information is managed by your ID and password. Please do not reveal them to others and log out properly, especially when using public computers;
- E. Others: Please be aware that information voluntarily posted on bulletin boards or through e-mail may be collected by others. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your information in public spaces.
- 3. By applying for our services, you are deemed to have agreed to the collection, use, and provision of member information as stated in these Terms and Conditions
Article 9 (Information Security by User)
- 1. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and all consequences arising from the use of your ID and password.
- 2. If you discover that your ID or password has been used illegally, you shall
immediately report it to us.
- 3. You must ensure that you log out accurately after each session. The
Company shall not be liable for damage resulting from a failure to do so.
Article 10 (Provision of Information and Advertising)
- The Company may provide various information or post advertisements on the website
or via e-mail in relation to the operation of the services.
Article 11 (Copyright of Posts Submitted to the Company)
- 1. You retain the rights to the content of your posts.
- 2. The Company may edit or remove content without prior notice in the following cases:
- A. If the post is commercial, illegal, obscene, or vulgar;
- B. If the post defames, slanders, or insults other members or third parties;
- C. If it violates public order and morals;
- D. If it is linked to a criminal act;
- E. If it infringes on the intellectual property rights of a third party;
- F. Posts made by users who have withdrawn their membership;
- G. If it violates relevant laws and regulations.
- 3. You are solely responsible for any civil or criminal liability arising from your postings.
Article 12 (Obligations and Responsibilities of the Company)
- The Company shall not divulge or distribute a member's personal information to others without prior consent, except as required by laws for investigative or legal purposes.
Article 13 (Obligations of Members)
- 1. Members shall comply with relevant laws, these Terms and Conditions, and use instructions.
- 2. Members shall not engage in commercial activities using our services without prior consent.
- 3. Members shall not copy, modify, translate, or publish information obtained through our services without consent.
- 4. Members shall not engage in the following acts:
- A. Fraudulent use of another member’s ID;
- B. Activities for criminal purposes;
- C. Harming good morals or social order;
- D. Defaming or insulting others;
- E. Infringing upon intellectual property rights;
- F. Hacking or spreading computer viruses;
- G. Transmitting unsolicited advertising information;
- H. Unauthorized changing of information on the website;
- I. Interfering with the stable operation of services;
- J. Any act that violates relevant laws and regulations.
Article 14 (Changes in Member Information)
Members must immediately update their information (address, e-mail, etc.) on the website if changes occur. The member is solely responsible for any service suspension or issues resulting from failure to update information.
Article 15 (Deletion of Content)
The Company may delete or move posts without prior notice if they violate regulations or exceed the prescribed posting period.
Article 16 (Contract Termination and Use Restrictions)
- 1. To cancel the service agreement, a member must apply via the website or e-mail at least one (1) day prior to the desired termination date (or two (2)days if the date precedes a holiday).
- 2. The Company may terminate the agreement if a member violates these
Terms and Conditions.
- 3. The Company may restrict or suspend services without prior consent if a
member violates the contract or relevant laws.
Article 17 (Compensation for Damages)
The Company shall not be liable for any damage incurred in connection with services provided free of charge, unless such damage is caused by the Company's gross negligence.
Article 18 (Disclaimer)
- 1. The Company is exempt from liability for service suspension due to natural disasters or force majeure.
- 2. The Company is not liable for disruptions caused by reasons attributable to
the user.
- 3. The Company is not liable for any damage or the accuracy of information
obtained through the services.
- 4. The Company is not responsible for the content of materials posted or
transmitted by users.
Supplementary Provision
1. (Enforcement Date) These Terms and Conditions shall come into effect on November 10, 2023.
